Theyyam season begins yearly from the end of October and ended by the beginning of June. Muthan theyyam is an excemption.

And also at Madayikkav [ a Saktheya kavu ] Maritheyyams performed in the month of July/ August
Other exceptions are the Karkkadakothi, Onathar and Onappottan
